Crystal of the Month - Rhodonite

This month I’ve been really needing some extra help on my inner peace and sorting through myself to find out if I’m on the right path. I was out of town visiting my sister this past weekend and I found an amazing little store called Tiny Gems that had gorgeous polished and rough cut stones and crystals. I was super drawn to a particular Rhodonite and it completely made sense to me.

A gorgeous stone of the Heart Chakra, Rhodonite can lay bare the emotional wounds and scars of the past for the purpose of healing, restoration and re-invigoration. It takes up the process and empowers one to reach one’s full potential, focusing one’s gifts and energies outward for the betterment of all. It is a stone of purpose, cooperation and community, altruism and a bountiful spirit.

Rhodonite is highly recognized as an emotional healer and for bringing one back to center during stressful times. Such a cool thing, it’s actually a “first aid stone” for calming emotional shock and panic, and provides grounded support during the process of dealing with painful issues. Rhodonite has a strong resonance with forgiveness and giving the soul the love it truly needs in order to properly heal. It gently releases self-destructive tendencies, festering resentments and lingering anger, and allows one to see both sides of an problem.

It encourages the love of others, and aligning with the spirituality of the universe in order to recognize one’s purpose and how one’s gifts and abilities may be used to effect change in your life.

I’ll definitely be keeping my rhodonite on me at all times for the next while.
